Dying to Talk - discussions around death and bereavement

The next ‘Dying to Talk’ event will be taking place on Saturday 11th May from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at St Michael’s, Bamford.

‘Dying to Talk’ is a series of talks convened by Revd Anne Gilbert, Manchester Diocese and Rochdale Deanery with the aim of facilitating discussions around dying, bereavement, and the practicalities around death. Each session welcomes a new expert who comes to share their knowledge on a range of issues, from living with grief to advice on wills, legacies and finances, plus much more.

Event schedule:

11th May - Let’s talk about ‘Dying to Talk’, with Jane Ashworth from Springhill Hospice

18th May - Registering and All That, with Josh Murphy, Superintendent Registrar, Rochdale Registration and Celebrant Services. This session will be held at St Paul’s, Norden, OL12 7SL.

1st June - Working with the Undertaker, with Dixons Funeral Service

15th June - Will, Legacies and Finances, with Louise Salisbury, AST Hampsons Solicitors

22nd June - Living with Grief and Bereavement, with The Spiritual and Pastoral Care Team, Springhill Hospice
