During Generosity Week we celebrate the joy of God's generosity and launch the diocesan giving strategy, which provides a generosity and thankfulness toolkit for churches.
We are pleased to announce the next round of the grant making fund: 'Family Worship and Beyond'.
The Church of England is to consult on a routemap to achieve net zero carbon by 2030. The views of parishes, schools and individuals are all welcome.
We recently visited Top Oth' Brow Church, which is a part of the Breightmet community in East Bolton, where Revd Ben Woodfield and his wife Amy gather in their home every week and host a service for local community members.
Award-winning charity and community centre The Burnside Centre, based on Langley Estate in Middleton, has recently become a member of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter.
Welcome to our new Area Deans and Lay Chairs who will lead our seven new deaneries.
Our seven new deaneries came into effect on 1 June.
Following an election process, Lay Chairs have been appointed to five of the new deaneries.
The Diocese of Manchester passed a motion at its March Synod declaring a climate emergency and calling for all churches to work towards achieving net zero emissions by 2030.
We are so excited about the opportunities that God continues to provide for Wiggle Worship (WW) in our schools and nurseries across Bolton and with families at home.
