Greater Manchester Faith Community Leaders call on MPs to support a Lords amendments to the Nationality and Borders Bill which would make it more effective in protecting people fleeing for their lives.
We are supporting the people of Ukraine through prayer and practical action. We will also support the refugee sponsorship programme.
The team at St James and Emmanuel, took to the streets of Didsbury and to West Didsbury CE Primary School to offer 'Ashes to Go' to mark the beginning of Lent.
The next phase of the transformation programme is underway as 12 newly appointed mission community leaders met at Church House for their induction.
Mental Health training provided by the diocese has helped St James' secondary school support students and respond positively to the impact of the pandemic.
Bishop Mark commissioned the first Anna chaplains in the diocese. They will work with local partners to support older people.
