Revd Simon Cook Said:
"The idea of the survey is really in recognition of all of the good work that has gone on over the pandemic. When we were locked down and in particular when we were shut out of our churches, it became really important to find new ways for churches to access and get in contact with people that they really care about, and also making sure that people in the wider community were being supported too.
And that took all sorts of forms, from live stream services on Facebook or Youtube Channels, to Bible Study or Fellowship Groups over Zoom, or even Messy Church in secure WhatsApp groups. All of these things have made a massive difference to people's lives, and this is an opportunity for us to stand back as we are coming out of the restrictions and just reflect on how we can learn for the future what we want to keep, what we want to put resources into, and maybe what we want to do some training for as well."
