Cornerstone is a new online learning platform designed to help churches grow in giving, generosity, and thankfulness. It’s being developed by the Church of England’s National Giving Team in partnership with The Kindness of Strangers.
The Cornerstone website offers clear, practical guidance to help churches better understand their finances and giving patterns. Through interactive insights and easy-to-read graphs, clergy and lay leaders can explore why people give and spot opportunities for growth.
To support churches in taking action, Cornerstone includes around 40 step-by-step guides—called pathways—tailored to a wide range of needs. These include running a stewardship campaign, introducing new ways to give, exploring the theology of generosity, and launching the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS). Watch this short video explaining the platform.
