Manchester & Salford Ecumenical Whit Walk
Monday, 27th May 2024
We are delighted to announce that the Manchester and Salford Ecumenical Whit Walk will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, 27th May. The procession will leave Cathedral Gardens at 10.00am and we will process to St Peter’s Square for an Act of Worship, before returning to Manchester Cathedral. The procession will follow the same route at last year
Following the success of last year’s Walk, we are hoping that more churches will get involved this year, either re-establishing an old parish tradition or beginning a new tradition. Please invite the other churches in your mission community.
If you are interested in participating in the Walk please contact the Revd Caroline Hewitt (firstname.lastname@example.org) for a registration form. The registration fee is £75 per benefice. The fee goes towards covering the cost of the event.
We hope to see you there!
