Rochdale Parish Church is hosting a Fairtrade event for Manchester Diocese, to showcase Fair Trade products and to promote the importance of supporting Fairtrade. Rochdale is the home of the Cooperative movement, which was the first company to have its own brand of Fairtrade chocolate and a wide range of Fairtrade goods. During the day there will be:
- Fairtrade refreshments
- school choirs
- a Fairtrade artist
- Fairtrade chocolatier
- smoothie bike
- Fairtrade speakers
- Fairtrade stalls
- craft activities
