Amongst the many issues facing parish churches is the necessity of managing fire risk. We have already seen across the country, and even in our own diocese, instances of church buildings being badly damaged or destroyed by fire. There are, however, some fairly simple ways of mitigating the risk of this occurring in our parishes, which Heather from Ecclesiastical has kindly agreed to come along and share with us.
She will also share with us some ideas for fundraising in our parishes, another major challenge as we seek to future-proof our many beautiful historic buildings across the Diocese.
