The Revd Cait Walker, currently Healthcare Chaplain, has been appointed Incumbent of the benefice of St Thomas, Moorside, and Assistant Curate of the benefice of St Mark, Heyside and St Anne, Royton (with special responsibility for St Mark, Heyside).
The Revd Chris Jamieson, currently Curate (OLM) in the benefice of Turton Moorland Ministry, will retire on 28th May 2025.
The Revd Jules Mambu, Priest-in-Charge in the benefice of St Lawrence, Denton, and Curate in the benefice of St Anne, Haughton, has been appointed as Vicar of St Cuthbert's, Castle Vale and St George's, Minworth in the Diocese of Birmingham.
The Venerable Richard Worsfold, currently Archdeacon of Leicester in the Diocese of Leicester, has been appointed Area Dean of Salford and Leigh.
The Revd Anne Gilbert, currently Incumbent of Deeplish and Newbold (Benefice) and St Chad, St Mary and St Edmund (Benefice), Rochdale, has been appointed Area Dean of Rochdale.
In addition to his current role as Incumbent of the benefice of St Crispin, Withington, the Revd Canon Patrick Davies is to be licensed as Assistant Curate of the benefice of Christ Church, Moss Side.
The Revd Paul Sumsion, currently Incumbent of Holcombe and Hawkshaw Benefice, has been appointed Chaplain at the Lee Abbey Christian Community.
The Revd Shirley Harrison, who currently holds PTO in the Diocese of Manchester, has been appointed Incumbent of the parish of St Anne, Tottington.
The Revd Canon Márcia Wall has been appointed Cathedral Chaplain at Manchester Cathedral.
The Rt Revd Jonathan Ruhumuliza, currently Team Vicar of the benefice of Astley, Tyldesley and Mosley Common, has been appointed Incumbent of the benefices of St Mary the Virgin, Leigh, and St Peter and St Paul, Westleigh, held in plurality.
