We are seeking a new Team Rector to lead this team of churches in mission, prayer and service.
All Saints Benefice comprises three parishes set within an urban context with huge opportunities for mission and evangelism.
The new Team Rector will work with a Pioneer Team Vicar and other lay and ordained colleagues. There is a strong desire for prayerful, inspiring leadership, especially in the areas of work with schools, church revitalisation, and leadership around change.
We are looking for an Incumbent with the following qualities:
- A deep and sustaining faith, with the ability to promote new ministry and develop innovative, inclusive ways of including our diverse wider church family.
- Ability to model and lead on vision and change as we seek to revitalise our church communities, build upon our successful youth and community work, our work with asylum seekers and refugees, and our commitment to the environment.
- A highly skilled communicator who is able to facilitate the challenging conversations needed for the benefice to step into the opportunities God is opening up.
- An appreciation of the importance of self-care and a capacity to work with others with kindness, sensitivity and a sense of humour.
- Experience, confidence and pastoral leadership in working across different churches and parishes in challenging circumstances.
