The Revd Colin Pearson, currently Area Dean of Salford and Leigh in the Diocese of Manchester will retire on the 30th April 2025.
The Revd Ian Hepburn, currently Hulme Lecturer, has been appointed to the post of Team Rector in the Turton Moorland Team Benefice.
The Revd Gill Barnett has been appointed as the new Bishop's Advisor on Deliverance.
The Revd Richard Hume, currently Vicar of the benefice of St John the Baptist, Edlington with St Jude, Hexthorpe in the Diocese of Sheffield, has been appointed Incumbent of the benefice of Christ Church, Moss Side.
The Revd Richard Lambert has retired as SSM Curate in the benefice of Saddleworth. His last day in office was 30th June 2024.
Lay Canon Dorothy Needham has accepted Bishop David's invitation to become Canon Emeritus.
The Revd Dr Peter Gaskell, currently Curate NSM in the benefice of Holy Trinity, Rusholme, has been appointed Curate NSM in the benefice of St Martin, Norris Bank.
The Revd Karen Slayen is to retire as Curate SSM at the benefices of St Mary the Virgin, Leigh, and St Peter and St Paul, Westleigh. Her last day in office will be the 2nd February 2025.
The Revd Roger Dixon has been appointed Retired Clergy Officer in the Diocese of Manchester.
The Revd Sue Spencer is to retire as OLM Curate in the benefice of Middleton and Thornham.
