On Sunday and Monday, over 300 members of clergy and readers gathered at Holy Family Failsworth and Manchester Cathedral for a day to study the Gospel of St Luke.
It was a great opportunity to gather, catch up with friends and spend time together. The theme of the days was 'Preaching the Gospel of Luke' and was led by The Revd Professor Richard Burridge, former Dean of Kings' College London and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Manchester. Bishop David opened the session and Bishop Mark closed in prayer, giving thanks for the talents of those in attendance and for their ministry in our diocese.
Thank you to all clergy and readers for your presence and participation. We are especially grateful to the support of clergy at Holy Family Failsworth and the events team at Manchester Cathedral for their hospitality.
