A message from Bishop David:
Following the announcement that Archdeacon Jean Burgess is to leave the diocese in early June, I have asked the Area Dean of Bury and Rossendale, Revd Canon Dr Rachel Mann to be Acting Archdeacon of Bolton and Salford until a permanent appointment is in post, which is likely to be at some point in the early autumn.
I am pleased to inform you that Rachel has agreed to take on these duties and responsibilities.
