On Saturday, the Foundations for Ministry course drew to a close with a fabulous celebration service at the Church of the Resurrection and St Barnabas, Eastland’s. Bishop David was in attendance to congratulate each of the graduates and present them with their certificates.
The course opens again in September and is designed to provide a solid foundation on which participants can develop and explore their calling. This might lead on to further study and ordination or other lay roles in the church.
All of those attending the course this time have told us that they have grown in confidence in their faith, their calling and in their own abilities.
