On Sunday 10th September, the Installation of Canons took place during a truly joyful celebration at Manchester Cathedral.
The Venerable Dr Rachel Mann was installed as Supernumerary Canon and was welcomed as Archdeacon of Bolton and Salford. She led the sermon during the service, which also saw eight Honorary Canons, one Lay Canon and one Ecumenical Canon installed in recognition of their ministry in God’s service.
Attended by many, the Cathedral was filled with clergy, friends and family, who all gathered in their numbers to offer their support and praise.
