Last week, Alison Moore, Strategic Programme Director and Rachel Eden, Children Changing Places Project Manager were invited to the Church Commissioners Annual Stakeholder Meeting in London to provide an update on their work. Both the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby and the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell were in attendance.
Rachel and Alison have been working, with others, to deliver the Children Changing Places Project in the diocese which seeks to engage children, young people, and families in discipleship.
The Church Commissioners provided funding for the project, which has been focused in Bolton Deanery with great success.
Please view the film above, which provides an update on the project so far and offers inspiration as elements of the project (eg: Wiggle Worship, Shades, Toddler and Children Worker Hubs) are being adopted across other deaneries as part of the wider diocesan transformation programme.
