The Ven. David Sharples retires at the end of this month after more than forty years’ service as a priest in this diocese, most recently as Archdeacon of Rochdale and a residentiary canon of the Cathedral. His ministry has been appreciated by many, and there is an opportunity to say farewell at a service at the Cathedral on Monday, 22nd April at 5.30 pm. This is not a ticketed event and anyone is welcome to attend on the day.
