Manchester churches feature in Net Zero film

Small changes can make a big difference! That's the running theme throughout the new video which highlights the Church of England's ambition to be net zero carbon by 2030.

Featuring churches and schools sharing how they are reducing their environmental impact, including Manchester Cathedral and Brunswick Church, Manchester, the film provides lots of inspiration and practical tips that all churches can achieve.

From replacing lightbulbs to insulating buildings, reducing water consumption to beekeeping, there are lots of ways to take a step in the right direction. As the Revd Canon Simon Gatenby says, "Yes it's a drop in the ocean, but the ocean is made up of many drops, and whatever we can do to impact and bring about change, we will do."

If you are keen to get started and wondering how you might fund more significant changes this section of the website outlines all of the grants available.

You are also invited to join other eco enthusiasts at a meeting at Manchester Catherdral, more details here.
