To mark the Coronation, people joined the 'Big Help Out' across the nation to champion and support volunteering work in and around your local community. Thousands across the United Kingdom came together to lend a hand in a range of different areas, from hosting sports events to looking after the environment. Churches across Manchester are already blessed with passionate congregations that give gracefully to grow, nurture, and serve their local communities.
This day marks an amazing opportunity to support in some of these voluntary projects and to celebrate the fine work that people from across our diocese can work hand in hand to build a church and a nation for a different world. We recognise how crucial the work of our volunteers in the Diocese of Manchester, and we hope that this national drive can only help to highlight the positive impact volunteering has on both the individuals and the communities they serve.
