Ordination Celebrations this Petertide Weekend

This weekend saw the ordination of 18 deacons and 14 priests from across the diocese. During each of the three services, Manchester Cathedral was filled with family, friends and supporters who gathered to celebrate with the ordinands who, following years of training, are preparing to take their next step in their ministry.

We've created this short video to offer a glimpse into the services:

On Saturday, Bishop Mark Davies ordained 14 priests who are serving their curacies in parishes around the diocese.

During the third service of the Petertide weekend, Bishop Stephen Race ordained Fr Ben Jennings as Deacon. Fr Ben will serve his curacy at The Holy Family Failsworth, Holy Trinity Blackley and St Luke Lightbowne with the Revd Canon Paul Hutchins. More photos from this service are available here
