It is with great sadness that we share the news that Revd David Thomas (Tom) died peacefully at home on 16th December. He was surrounded by love and prayer and is now at peace
The funeral service will take place on Friday 5 January, 12.30pm, at St Thomas', Pendleton, Salford, M6 6PE. There will be a cremation at Agecroft. Everyone is warmly invited to Buile Hill Park Hall for refreshments following the service.
Due to renovations being undertaken on the old hall, the entrance is currently on Weaste Lane, M5 5JQ. There should be some parking near the original entrance (M6 8GL) if you are happy to walk through part of the park to the hall.
There will only be one spray of flowers from Revd David's family, but if you would like to make a donation, David asked for these to be for Christian Aid. He was a Christian Aid volunteer speaker and a strong supporter of its work for very many years. There should be donation envelopes at the church, but a 'Tribute Page' has also been set up if you would like to make an online donation.
