Ben Brady has been appointed UKME Vocations Champion. His role is to encourage and enable anyone from a UKME background to hear and respond to God's call on their life - whatever that might be.
Ben says, 'My experience is that it's never too early to start working with the Vocations Team. They can help overcome any barriers in order to enable UKME explorers to flourish. So, if you are from a UKME background and want to talk about any aspect of ministry please do get in touch with me.
I'm also really keen to encourage parish clergy to get in touch with me or Nick Smeeton (Director of Vocations) if you have anyone in your congregation from a UKME background who is sensing a call to lay or ordained ministry, even if their calling is at a very early stage'.
