Wythenshawe churches team up for The Big Feed

Churches in Wythenshawe recently teamed up to provide free food to those in need as part of The Big Feed Week. The Big Feed is a movement founded in Wythenshawe which aims to help tackle food poverty, and churches got involved in plenty of creative ways. The week included The Big Bean Feast at St Luke’s where diners enjoyed a selection of bean-based dishes, The Big Fun Day at William Temple with free ice cream and a bouncy castle, plus brunches, lunches, family fun days, craft fairs, singing events, BBQs, fruit stalls and more – all completely free to attend.

Wythenshawe churches have also extended their support beyond The Big Feed Week, offering free food, events, and provisions throughout the summer holidays. You can find further details below:
