On Tuesday evening, the Man Dio Growing Faith team are being commissioned by Bishop Mark Davies at Manchester Cathedral. This special service of Evensong starts at 5.30 pm and all are welcome to attend to show your support.
We will be holding three Archdeaconry events in October – two will be in-person meetings and one can be attended online.
A Commissioning Service will be taking place on 15th October at St Mary’s Rawtenstall, for Focal Leaders in the Radcliffe, Whitefield, and Rossendale Mission Communities within Bury and Rossendale Deanery.
This session will give you an introduction to the role of churchwarden and will cover topics such as safeguarding; working with your PCC and sidespeople; faculties and working with your clergy during a vacancy. There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
