The Parish Church of St Leonard, Middleton, a grade 1 listed building and the oldest church in the Manchester Diocese, is celebrating an important anniversary this year. The church is putting on a programme of events during the year, beginning with an organ concert on 4th May featuring renowned international organist, Jonathan Scott.
On March 21st there will be a two-part poetry event looking at Christianity and poetry, in partnership with Manchester Writing School at Manchester Metropolitan University and Manchester Cathedral.
