Archdeacon Jean Burgess has announced that she is leaving the Diocese of Manchester to take up a new role as Archdeacon of Bournemouth.
The Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, will be visiting the Diocese of Manchester at the beginning of March. He has sent a greeting to all our parishes and to everyone in advance of his visit.
The Revd Daniel Valentine currently Priest-in-Charge of St. Matthew with St. Mary Crumpsall has been appointed in addition as Chaplain to St. Anselm Hall at the University of Manchester.
The Rt Revd Mark Ashcroft has announced that he will retire as Bishop of Bolton in February 2023.
