House of Lords: Bishop David speaks in debates on levelling up, housing and strikes
The Bishop of Manchester shares a letter following the announcement of the results of the bishops’ conversations that have been taking place as part of the Living in Love and Faith process.
Environmental issues were to the fore at Diocesan Synod. Bishop Mark Ashcroft was also thanked for his dedicated service to the diocese prior to his retirement in February.
The Diocese of Manchester has published an Executive Summary of its past case safeguarding review (PCR2) that was carried out by the Independent Reviewer between September 2020 and June 2021.
On the death of HM the Queen, Bishop David makes a personal tribute to her life of faith and service.

The Diocesan Synod meeting got off to a lively start with Wiggle Worship. There were updates on diocesan finances, SDF-funded projects, the Transformation Programme, and plans for the relocation of the diocesan office to St John's House in Bury.
Manchester Diocesan Synod passed a Motion on Racism, affirming “that every parish and Diocese in England is an appropriate place for global majority candidates to exercise their ministry and leadership.â€
