The Rt Revd Dr David Walker, Bishop of Manchester, has shared a prayer for peace for the ongoing crisis in Gaza.
On Saturday, Diocesan Synod met at St John's House, Bury. In his opening address, Bishop David reflects on the General Election, outlines five key values that Greater Manchester faith leaders share, and asks Synod to hold those standing for election before God in prayer.
Last Saturday at Bury Parish Church, 13 participants from around the diocese (plus friends and family) celebrated the completion of their Foundations for Ministry (FFM) course.
Last night, on Thursday 2nd May, Manchester Cathedral hosted a service to celebrate 30 years since the first ordination of women priests. It was a wonderful opportunity for colleagues and friends to get together to reflect on all that has been achieved over the last 30 years.
