Congratulations to all our new deacons and priests who were ordained at Manchester Cathedral last weekend.
For me, the importance of ordination is that it adds a public dimension of visibility and accountability to my calling to share and teach our faith.
Manchester and Lahore dioceses celebrated their 25-year link with a visit to St Denys school and an ordination service in Murree.

The Diocesan Synod meeting got off to a lively start with Wiggle Worship. There were updates on diocesan finances, SDF-funded projects, the Transformation Programme, and plans for the relocation of the diocesan office to St John's House in Bury.
At the end of May, over 70 friends, family and supporters gathered at the Church of the Resurrection and St Barnabas, Eastlands to celebrate with the 14 participants who recently completed the Foundations for Ministry course.
