St John’ House Bury, the central diocesan office, has been awarded an Eco Church Bronze Award for steps taken to help achieve net zero carbon.
Over 100 Authorised Lay Ministers (ALM) and special guests gathered last Saturday for the annual ALM Summer Conference.
The Bishop of Tampere in Finland, the Rt Revd Matti Repo attended General Synod last week to speak about the joint work of confirmation training between our diocese and Tampere in Finland, which is centred around summer camps for confirmands - and provides a training ground for junior leaders.
Never Forgotten is a baby loss support group based at St Mary the Virgin, Davyhulme. A three-year grant from Council for Social Aid allows Rachelle, who runs the group, to provide these sessions completely free of charge to attendees.
