Canon Phillip Blinkhorn will be standing down as Chair of the Diocesan Board of Finance (DBF) at the end of this year.
Revd Matt Sanderson recently took part in Stop the Bleed Day, a campaign to equip young people with the skills and confidence to treat injuries.
Last night, on Thursday 2nd May, Manchester Cathedral hosted a service to celebrate 30 years since the first ordination of women priests. It was a wonderful opportunity for colleagues and friends to get together to reflect on all that has been achieved over the last 30 years.

On Thursday 2nd May at 7.30 pm, Manchester Cathedral will be hosting a Eucharist to celebrate 30 years since women were first ordained as priests. Bishop Cherry Vann will be preaching and Archdeacon Karen Best will be presiding and all are invited to attend. As part of the celebration, we are creating a piece of collaborative art to celebrate the work of women priests in the diocese.
