On Friday 2 June, churches from across Saddleworth gathered for the Saddleworth Whit Walk.
Please pray for all those to be ordained this year.
Churches across the Diocese gathered together in Manchester City Centre over bank holiday Monday, marking the first Whit Walk in over 4 years!
Our Transforming Prayer Community is our diocese-wide community that seeks to connect and reconnect us with this simple vocation to pray. Our prayer community is an invitation to simplicity, to growth and change, and to an adventure in which we will discover more about God’s priorities and equip us to be his Body in a world of need.
The Foundations for Ministry course drew to a close with a fabulous celebration service at the Church of the Resurrection and St Barnabas, Eastland’s.
To mark the Coronation, Monday 8th May was dedicated to volunteering. The Big Help Out aimed to get more people involved in helping out in their communities.
Communities and churches across the Diocese of Manchester celebrated King Charles III's coronation over a weekend of exciting events and gatherings.
Walmsley C.E. School and Christ Church Walmsley featured in the ITV national broadcast ahead of the Coronation services.
Graham Lord, Captain of the Bells and his team of bellringers at St Paul’s, Ramsbottom will Ring for the King from 10am to 10.30am on Saturday morning.
The scheme is aimed at choral singers wishing to embark on a professional career in singing.
