Nic Harris has been appointed as Pioneer Evangelist in Rochdale Centre of Mission, a partnership between Manchester Diocese Renewing Rochdale initiative and Church Army.

Bishop Charles has had a busy weekend of activities including Diocesan Synod, afternoon tea at St James and St Edmund's, Moss Side and leading the sermon at Manchester Cathedral.
Thirty-five young people attended from the four youth groups in the Mission Community (Horwich and Rivington, Westhoughton, Deane and Lostock and Over Hulton).
The Children Changing Places Project was recently featured at the Church Commissioners Annual Stakeholder Meeting in London. Both the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby and the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell were in attendance.
To mark the 75th anniversary of the arrival of Empire Windrush, the Bishop of Manchester has invited The Rt Revd Charles Davidson, Bishop of Guyana, to visit Manchester Diocese.

Lesley Stear has been an active member of St. Andrew's Church within the Ramsbottom and Edenfield Team Ministry for over 30 years, and is now preparing for her ordination as a Deacon at Manchester Cathedral
